Strenesse Blue produced a rainbow spectrum of breezy seventies-inspired beach and resort-wear. Spanning the colour-wheel, the collection was easy, unchallenging and effortlessly pleasant, like a post-pool popsicle. Although the look was vacation-ready, the brand clearly did its homework and fashioned the real fabrics from the era. Tiny hot-pants and string-bikinis made from shimmery plum, rose and pale gold knits appeared authentic in a true seventies’ sensibility. Sheer dresses in turquoise and tan python prints were closer throwbacks to recent Burberry collections but the overall effect was endearingly retro.
