The future is now at Hugo. Eyan Allen promoted a prime directive of Star Trek-worthy crisp futuristic looks. Men and women wore sharp suits with arresting contrasting proportions in powerful rich colours. The palette consisted exclusively of ice-blue, silver, white and flame red. Billowing chiffon trains and cap-backs exposed luxurious leggings, recalling the seductive alien princesses that Captain Kirk wooed throughout the galaxy. The fabrics were mostly earth-bound silks and linens with dashes of technologically advanced metallic materials. The shimmering suits and masterfully cut gowns conveyed the wisdom, confidence and authority we hope humanity develops in future eras.
