Sometimes sticking to the classics isn’t such a bad thing. Frida Weyer’s collection was certainly not the most exciting and innovative set of looks to hit the runway this week, but it wasn’t trying to be either, nor did it need to. Where it succeeded was in classically cut dresses in prints of earth tones, blues and yellows. Figure-flattering cocktail dresses and rompers walked along side flowing gowns to create a collection, accessible, above all else. Unfortunately Weyer’s seeming attempts at innovation, a set of dresses composed of strips of fabric resembling party streamers, dampened the quality of the other looks.
