pink splash

The Escada Sport made a splash–literally. Models walked on a mirror of water on fluorescent pumps wearing loosely fitting one-piece suits, reminiscent of a well-developed resort collection. The prints introduced throughout–in bikinis, beachwear and trousers–was what we can only describe as a German wink to Missoni, taking a cue from the king of patterns. Two fluorescent pink pieces–a one-piece suit and a dress–turned heads as they walked down as the opening and closing looks from the show, acting like covers to Escada’s waterfront sartorial storybook.
