The allure of Allude lies in its cleanly-cut, sophisticated, sex-appeal. Knits have a matronly reputation but Allude is agelessly slinky. The fabrics are overtly sensual and light. Designer Andrea Karg has a masterful sense of cut and she crafts graceful garments which undermine knit’s matronly reputation. This season consisted entirely of sweet, ice-light, colors and diminutive forms. Allude’s spectrum ranged only from cream to baby pink but the tiny skirts, silk tap-pants and snug sweaters were mature, chic and flirtatious.
