Kilian Kerner is growing. And it shows. The designer presented a collection that wasn’t only cohesive and creative, but was equally as grounded and well-constructed.
The men’s wear was risque enough to make heads turn, without being threatening. While Kerner’s women were solidly grounded in a soft palette, allowing for some extravagant detail to be added onto the otherwise traditional cuts and silhouettes without sending the garment’s features into overdrive. The show was led, as it is now tradition, by the presentation of the season’s theme song “Fly me to the moon and don’t go away,” a romantic gesture to set the mood by Splinter X’s singer, Ben Ivory.
