Three looks into .DIMITRI’s S/S11 show, all I could think of was of Esmeralda from Hunchback. “She’d wear that”, I thought. Which is a compliment. The clothes had a playful, yet settled style that made some bold choices. And although some of the applications inserted–leather or otherwise–might have started to fall in the gimmick category, the more elegant cuts of the subtle, pale-toned garments held the collection up to the label’s last season’s debut’s standards. This was also the first time we spotted the gold forearm-length cuff-bracelet that would reappear throughout the ramps of this season’s shows.
