Dimitri was a perfectly passable 3pm show. In case you missed the Charlie Girl references trickling down from Chloe to Zara, Dimitri offered a nice Cliff Notes to the chic seventies revival. The girls were sophisticated and striated elegantly in their wide-legged trousers and belted coats. Their dressier counterparts wore Grecian goddess gowns and sexy leather flapper dresses. Hair was tussled and the palette was autumnal, besides some climatic fuchsia fringe. But the overall effect was forgettable. The collection however, is wearable and very down-to-earth. I recommend stopping by the Dmitri store, which is really the best review this show could hope for.
